With the rollout of the FAA eIPP, we now have early direction on how AAM is expected to move from concept into operation.

What strengthens this signal is that similar patterns are emerging beyond eIPP itself.

Across regions, we are seeing alignment around:

• Defined use cases

• Multi-partner coordination

• Infrastructure tied to operations

In the Ohio–Kentucky–Indiana (OKI) region, multi-state coordination is shaping how interoperability may function at scale.

In Michigan, early infrastructure investments and funding participation are aligning with specific applications and partners.

Different starting points. Similar direction.

These patterns show how AAM moves forward in practice:

• Cataloguing lessons learned

• Expanding use cases into repeatable operations

• Deepening coordination

• Aligning local efforts with broader frameworks

What’s still missing is consistency—but that gap is narrowing as real-world examples grow.

Early deployment is not just proving what works—it is revealing what needs to be refined.
